This course explores the role and responsibilities of a Support Worker within supported accommodation services for care leavers aged 16–25. It is designed for learners working, or preparing to work, in supported housing, semi-independent provision, or leaving care services. The course aligns with Level 3 practice standards, UK safeguarding expectations, and local authority leaving care responsibilities. The course focuses on promoting independence, safeguarding, emotional wellbeing, and positive outcomes while recognising the impact of care experiences and trauma.
